I had a very specific way I wanted this to look and dresses are usually a problem for me since the upper part of my body is wider than the lower part of my body so I did have to get this dress altered, but for what I paid it was well worth it! It was cheaper than other dresses at my mall and in a style I liked.

Plus, I loved the pockets! I did order the dress probably a size more than I should have, but I knew that it would be better to have extra room for alterations as opposed to not having enough fabric. I will say some people came up to me saying "Congratulations!" because they thought I got married since the dress isn't your typical prom dress, but I found it kind of entertaining :)Hope this helps!
