Review on Acure Mattifying Moisturizer, Vegan & Paraben Free, 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack Of 1) - Clear Skin Formula by Brian Martin

I bought this as a replacement for the First Aid Beauty Mattifying Gel, which was discontinued much to my chagrin. I had really high hopes for this product based on other Acure moisturizers I had used before. Whereas the FAB mattifying gel was light and quick to absorb, this product is thicker, somewhat grainy, and left a tacky residue on my face. My biggest issue, though, was the scent. I've seen a few people talking about it smelling strongly of essential oils, but to me it almost smells musty. It was so strong that I ended up washing it off my face after an hour or so.
