Nice monitor, but problems with flickering

I seem odd so take my review with a grain of salt as I believe I have a faulty unit. Pros: - Fantastic colors. I'm from TN and it's just a cut above him. - Clocks easily up to 144Hz, read, it even goes up to 220Hz (at your own risk) - Response time is as good as the description says. As I said, coming from TN, I have to say that this is closer to its performance than I expected. - Curve 1500r - BEAUTIFUL. I thought it was too aggressive, but actually it's just incredibly exciting. Cons: I launched WoW and noticed some flickering, but I'm told this is a common problem with all G-Sync monitors. I looked it up and it seemed like a fair explanation so I just accepted it and moved on. Yesterday I launched Rocket League and found that it happens too often and not just on the menu screens. I've tried increasing/decreasing the free sync range, swapping the DP cable, setting G-sync to full screen only, and pretty much every other trick you can find on google. Also this morning I found my first stuck/dead pixel that I couldn't revive. I would like to reiterate that I do not believe this is the expected behavior of the monitor and that I received a faulty unit.
