I bought two of these because all my grandchildren love them, ranging in age from six months to three years. The base of each egg is shaped to fit snugly in one spot on the egg holder. Each egg is its own color, and its top has a face of the same color. but any top fits any egg, but with age the child begins to want to combine colors. With the lid removed, the egg can be crushed a little to hear a faint squeak. Most parents will be pleased to find that the noise is quiet and won't bother you if the eggs keep squeaking. The tote bag is the perfect size, enticing little ones to want to carry the bag from room to room. overall a great toy.
