I think the idea with the Z palette is really great! I travel a lot and it always frustrates me how much space all my powder compacts take up in my suitcase, so the ability to mix and match just small bowls in one palette is just what I was looking for. from the original compacts! By finding a video on YouTube using thread and needle I was able to get all my shapes without losing too much powder. I have found that some of my pans do not stick to the magnetic pallet, but the kit includes small metal squares and circles with glue on one side to attach to these pans. The palette itself feels very durable and lightweight, making it ideal for travel. I think I would give it another star if it included instructions and/or tools to help you store your makeup bags. I also think the border around the Z palette could be thinner to have more space for the actual makeup. Space is valuable when traveling. So if you can fit another pan in the same space, that's good. Also wanted to mention that I have a small NARS Pro Palette for a few bucks more. than this Zpalette (and free shipping!), and it has about twice the storage space. I use the NARS Palette to store all my pans at home, then pack just the travel essentials into a smaller Zpalette.
