Vitality Duo Essence Bi-Phase Dynamic Toner This is an interesting product, sort of an 'eater', a combination of essence and toner. In the bottle, the oil and water phases are on top of each other and you shake the bottle to mix them just before use. I was surprised how oily it leaves the skin and for an oily girl this is not what I'm looking for. But I opted for an ice ball massage as my skin was accidentally already oiled. This is also a good time to practice Gua Sha or even a manual facial massage. (Update: After some additional experimentation, I found that if I used just a few drops of this product, it would absorb into the skin in minutes and leave a smaller layer on the skin.) The ingredients are really impressive. , with salicylic acid, mandelic acid, glycolic acid, retinyl palmitate, niacinamide, panthenol and sodium PCA. Oils include olive, raspberry, sea buckthorn, and vitamin E. It's a well-crafted blend of antioxidant, exfoliating, bleaching, acne-fighting, and soothing ingredients. The formulation contains no alcohol, and although a fragrance is mentioned on the ingredient list, there is no discernible aroma. I think people with dry skin will like it. Although the brand says it's suitable for all skin types, it's too greasy for me to use every day in the morning or even at night.
