Review on ๐Ÿ”จ BOSTITCH T6 8 Heavy Powercrown Tacker: The Ultimate Tool for Heavy-Duty Stapling Jobs by Charles Barney

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This is the worst stapler I have ever used in my life.

This product is a waste of money. I did some research to find the best product for upholstery projects. The Bostitch pad stapler was the most popular device. Unfortunately, I did not open or attempt to use the device before the return deadline. Not only does the T-6 require special, more expensive staples than standard staplers (which I'd be happy to live with if the damn thing works well), the gun either won't fire or jams after every successful stab attempt. Most of the time he just won't push the mount out. I checked for jams, made sure it was loaded properly, made sure the stem and spring were free to move, made sure I was using the correct (expensive and specialized) strut size. Nothing. I can pull the trigger 10 times without successfully removing the staple from the machine. I can clearly see where there are impact marks on the surface I'm trying to fasten, but the staples won't come out of the unit. I've tried loading a full row of staples, half a row of staples, emptying the stapler and reloading it after each successful stapling attempt. I have checked that the tray is properly loaded and that the spring is properly seated. NOTHING WORKS. The car is scrap and the money down the drain. The only good thing I can say about it is that it's a solid piece of junk.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
