This radio works well when running. The big advantage is that it has buttons instead of a touchscreen. This was a big problem with my iPod as I really couldn't easily switch channels while I was working. This radio doesn't have all the bells and whistles like tracking time or distance or other things that I've never used on my iPod. What it does is keep music or news in my ears while I jog, which is all I want. Combine this with a thin safety vest and you can change channels, volume, etc. just like cops do with remote controls while running. Even the included El Cheepo headphones are a plus as I can hear the insides bouncing around and help me keep up.
