Review on 🐱 Instinct Limited Ingredient Cat Food: Natural Grain-Free Dry Diet for Cats by Elsa Lynch

Your nose and your cat will not thank you.

I really wanted to like this food but damn. We gradually switched our blind and deaf cat with a severe grain and chicken allergy from sensitive cat quail and duck food to this food and still had problems. The first thing I can say is that this pellet is very dark, almost black, which is a bit strange but not a determining factor as rabbit is the main ingredient. We started with a few pieces of this food mixed with old food and gradually worked our way up to a whole bowl of this food over the course of several weeks. Our boy seemed to enjoy the taste and aroma of this creature. The scent is his main feeling that he left behind. I would say he was taking it fairly well but let me tell you that for some reason his stool was becoming more liquid and leaving lumps. pooping around the house, near the booth, on our carpets, and we even had to shave his butt because he had feces stuck to his tail. This food also made his stool very heavy, I mean very smelly, I almost threw up when he had his first bowel movement after eating this food in its entirety, the smell was so awful. His poop also oddly came out in beads rather than a solid piece and instead of going once or twice a day we noticed he now poops at least 5-6 times a day which we thought was excessive. We only tried this food because it was a pound more than what we got with the Fussy cat food, but we will definitely be going back to the Fussy cat food and giving this food to our outdoor strays instead that we do care for.
