Last summer my county stopped accepting recyclables in plastic bags. You should throw all your grocery bags, plastic bottles, aluminum cans and the like in the large plastic wheeled bin they provide. In it everything should be free. So how about shredded paper from a home-made shredder? You don't want it lying loose in a 'container' for recycling. They say to put it in a paper bag from the grocery store and staple it on top. So I bought this product and use it to shred paper. However, instead of sewing, I fold and compress the top.
