I was really looking forward to using this screen protector. The one worn by my wearer has lasted many years (5 years at least) and just last year it started cracking a bit around the edges. I use my iPad a lot, especially during the 2020 pandemic. The screen protectors were well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It was easy to install. Unfortunately, I didn't have to search for this product to have frayed edges - as I said, I use my tablet a lot. I teach piano (online post-pandemic) and have copies of the textbooks on my Kindle app for easier use. I wasn't too worried because there were two defenders so I knew I had a retreat. Wanting to get the most out of it, I kept using it even though it was starting to wear out. The end of the line came when I cut my finger on a sharp edge and a tiny piece of glass got stuck in my finger. My mistake - I had to stop using it when it started fraying around the edges. I don't think it's a bad product, maybe it's just not meant for those who use their tablet almost all the time. I just didn't have the strength. I've already installed the second one and most likely won't do it.
