I've never had a dishwasher before the one I have now so was a little unsure of how to make sure it stayed clean and didn't stick together. with lube etc. My appliance mechanic suggested this product to continue the good work and it seems to have done the trick! It's easy to use, inexpensive, and seems to be doing its job well so far. . You'll probably want to empty the pills into a bag or other container, since the box they come in falls apart pretty quickly under the sink.
