We place our Christmas tree on a crate covered with a fabric skirt. My cat likes to "live" under it during the holiday season so I bought her this when the tree was removed. At first she was very cautious, but after putting the used Feliway sprayer under her pillow she likes it now. I wish the pillow was more plush like fleece, but the cat doesn't seem to mind. I partially cover the entrance with a kitchen towel to give her some privacy. I think she likes that she can partially see through the fabric.
