I got these a while ago to review, and when I first charged them and paired them, they both worked. And then I forgot about them for a bit. Then I tried them again and only one worked. So I charged them up again, and still only one worked. And I've let them sit for a bit, made sure they were charged, and tried again this morning. One works great, the other seems to be dead. Bummer. So anyway, my hobby last year was reviewing budget (meaning under $50) earbuds. I was trying to find the bested best budget buds, and I did find a few good ones in that price range. If both of these worked, I would have given this set 4-stars.Pairing - easy to pair, and easy to re-pair. Well, one was easy to re-pair.Instructions - Very clear. There are also instructions on what to do if one of the buds doesn't seem to be working. I followed them, and the right bud still didn't work.Battery/Case - I love the green color. The case is very small and fits well in just about any pocket. It also comes with a little drawstring bag which is big enough for the case & the instructions, but the wire doesn't really fit. Battery life seems to be fine, and the case and buds hold a charge well.Y'know, I think the issue is that the right bud just isn't charging. I checked for plastic over the connectors that most manufacturers add to keep them from discharging during transit, but there isn't any. I shined a flashlight into the well to see if there was something blocking the connection, but it looked just like the left well.Comfort - these are quite comfortable.Latency - I prefer to watch videos on my phone, so the lag between mouths moving and voices is a deal killer for me. There was no noticeable lag. Woo hoo!Noise cancelling - it seemed to work. I remember it working when both buds worked, and the left bud tries. It's hard to tell when the right bud isn't doing its thing.Sound quality - it's fine. It's not like my high end Jabras or M&D MW08s, but it's also a sixth the price of the Jabras and a ninth the price of the M&Ds. So for the price, it's decent. Again, I think part of my issue is that I'm only getting sound out of the left.TL;DR: *IF* both buds worked, I would give these 4 stars. They are really good for the price - comfortable, decent sound, decent battery life, and zero latency. The noise cancellation is good for the price too. It's just that on mine, the right earbud won't charge, and I've already checked for the plastic film both on the bud and maybe stuck in the battery well. I think I just got the dud. Bummer.
