I bought these cables mainly because of the great 90° angle design. If you spend time charging your phone/tablet, you will need to use multiple charging cables due to the weak point where the cable and the mini-USB/USB-C end meet. This met a number of my needs, but there are also some downsides that I want to know about before purchasing. Pros: * Magnet Strength - The magnet was exceptionally strong. *Twist and no kink - these cables met my need for a stronger cable. It worked as promised. No more frayed cables! * Charge Speed - Matches the fast charge of the proprietary Samsung cable that came with my phone. *Added bonus* My husband and I were able to use the same cable (iPhone and Android) as the tips we bought were of both types, allowing you to quickly switch between devices. Cons: Additional tipping expense - this is not related to tipping. LED too bright - I like a dark room while I sleep. I don't sleep in pitch darkness, but it's so bright it could be used as a beacon for aliens in deep space! Notes You must purchase the Notes separately. Other tips have a very short lead at the end. The difference is very small. Also, when purchasing, there is nothing to indicate that there is more than one type of charging connector and they are not compatible. I found a set of cables that came with ferrules. I think this will provide additional tips and cords for business trips. I put the extra cables in my laptop bag and the "extra" tips in the stash. Unfortunately, I only found out about the intolerance on a business trip.
