I've wanted a quarter-zip from a popular premium brand for a long time, but at $120 I just couldn't pull the trigger. So when I came across this sportier version that was on sale for less than $50 I had to try it and I'm so happy I did. This men's Spyder Bandit Mid-Layer Half-Zip Jacket outperforms this premium jacket in every way. The fabric is thicker and the seams are stronger, giving the jacket greater density. I'm 6'2", 175 pounds and I like my clothes to be snug. This medium sized jacket is about as thin as it gets, but I think a plus size would be too big for me. Color, fit and Fabric is exceptional on this jacket for the price and I am now interested in exploring other Spyder offerings.
