Surprisingly good quality. My pup destroyed her at about 8 months but she held up to the abuse. She swam in the lake a few times a week and played rough. This caused some of the paint to come off. I no longer use it as my main collar, I wear a hunting color which always looks good but I put it on every time we go out. Like any colored leather, it will wear down over time if mishandled. Surprisingly soft and well built. Recommended purchase if this isn't for everyday use or your activity isn't as taxing on the skin as mine. I've bought three so far, two for my doberman and one for my pit and they all looked equally well built.
