Hard to wear Good to wear Blankets

Bought these to wear around the house. It's so thick and heavy that it puts a strain on your neck. It's embarrassing and painful, yes. No buttons around the hole but the blanket itself. It's like tying a weight around your neck. I continue to use it on the couch as a blanket. But is not used for the intended purpose or desire.
