The shorts are nice. They are not as short as some girls shorts. We bought 3 pairs of bags. The pockets are too small for small hands. It always seems that girls' shorts are made more for beauty than functionality. Even little girls love bags. If your little one needs pockets for something other than looks, these shorts might not be for you. Otherwise light material and good quality
