Review on Glock Field Knife Fixed Battlefield by Eldrick Carlton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not Glock "Perfection "

The blade seems strong, and in general the knife is aesthetically pleasing. The saw teeth on top are sharp and seem to do what's needed when you decide to cut something. Only the very tip and bottom 1/3 of the blade was sharp, I spent over an hour trying to get a good edge on the rest of the blade. The handle is made of a hard polymer, not grippy and not rubbery to the touch. Otherwise it feels good in the hand. The locking mechanism that keeps the blade in the sheath is excellent, but it takes some practice to get it out, especially with one hand. Of course, this makes it difficult to quickly pull the knife out when needed, but it definitely won't fall out accidentally. I was hoping this knife would be as simple yet functional as their pistols (which I love) but so far it leaves a lot to be desired. The best plus is the price, which may not be worth it depending on the sharpness of the blade. That. I'll carry it around and try it myself, but overall: I'm glad I already have a lot of experience with their pistols because if this knife was my first exposure to a Glock product I wouldn't look at it on your pistols again.
