Review on Wireless Vehicle Leveling System - LevelMatePRO by Kyle Hong

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love this device! Makes customization a breeze!

I love this thing! Maybe it's because I'm a girl, but I've always had a hard time leveling our RV (25' LTV Unity). πŸ˜† I came across this device on the motorhome blog and immediately started researching it. It didn't take long for me to realize I needed it. The box arrived quickly. Hooray! I went through the installation guides and videos on You Tube and downloaded the app. Set up was simple and straightforward. I have gathered the necessary tools. Spirit level, tape measure and a small Phillips screwdriver and attached the unit to the wall inside the closet. I then took (and recorded) the necessary measurements between the tires and decided to find a flat spot so I could initialize the device. A base for "leveling" needs to be created, so you need to level your setup or find a level spot. This was the hardest part as almost all parking lots have a slope to drain water. I finally found level ground and was ready to go. We have just returned from a 3 week trip and at each campsite leveling our RV was a breeze. I could move forward/backward as needed to make adjustments and if it was more than about 2 inches I would install leveling blocks. This is nice because it tells you how many inches each wheel is off straight (if that). Really delayed the setup process. The cost is nothing to scoff at, but if you can swing. I highly recommend this device. The device is powered by a 2032 battery and transmits a Bluetooth signal for an hour after turning on the application. This is to save battery. EDIT: 7/14/18 - Still enjoying the LevelMate Pro Pro for easy alignment. What worries me is the battery situation. Any ride we take after the camper has been stored for a while. The battery is dead and I need to replace it. Not too handy as I installed it in a cabinet and 4 tiny screws need to be removed. That helps save a proper screwdriver and a supply of CR2032 batteries. Newer ones I believe Models have since turned to it. It would be really nice if the on/off button made sure the bluetooth wasn't broadcast when it wasn't needed.
