The perfect sleeping bag for changing hands!

This product was perfect for my little boy. He never liked having his legs curled up when he was in diapers, and he would kick or wiggle around to make room for his legs, so I started just leaving the bottoms long. This affected how tightly the arm area could be wrapped, which meant that after a month he woke up occasionally because he is a very active sleeper and moved about enough at night to free his arm normally. As he grew and moved, the risk of loose sleeping blankets and his dislike of sleeping bags that tied his arms but his legs prompted me to look for a portable bag that had enough legroom and the ability to still have his arms wrapped hold, but still leave open the possibility of eventually getting his hands on it. Enter the clicky hip bag. Luckily this is a healthy boy who doesn't need him due to his hip dysplasia friendliness but the 0-6 month old had all the qualities he needed. He loved the legroom, often sleeping with his knees bent to the side and wrapping his hands around him made him feel comfortable and secure until he was ready to sleep with one and then both arms. I've seen it mentioned that it shrinks in the dryer but it has become his main sleeping bag so I need to be able to wash and dry it quickly between sleeps. The next size up is probably due to shrinkage but I think for my next baby I might buy two and try not to dry them to see if that helps. Overall I liked this product for its versatility and honestly I don't see why there aren't more sleeping bags with more "lateral legroom" and hand wrap clothing that can go into open arms. It's literally one of a kind and I think it's great even for kids who don't need it for hip dysplasia reasons.
