Review on Purina Fancy Feast Classic Chicken Cats by Brandon Harding

I have recently started feeding my two 16 year old cats only the Fancy Feast Classic Turkey/Offal Pie. Daisy is diagnosed with diabetes; in the first few weeks we were in insulin adjustments, dietary changes. You know the routine, I'm sure. When my vet recommended one of the prescription wet cat foods, I asked him if we could try a special diet I found while researching feline diabetes. He agreed. And for a week, all Daisy had was this turkey and offal pie. Her blood sugar dropped from nearly 700 to 120! Now we take 1/2 unit of insulin twice a day. But the vet thinks we can get Daisy's diabetes under control with diet alone! My cats HATE all RX cat food of all kinds; I knew I had to find another way to feed her. My vet was surprised by Daisy's "special diet" but was more than happy with the results. Now, however, there is another component to their diet. She always ate mainly dry food, something wet. Dry food is an absolute taboo for cats, especially diabetics. Thank you Fancy Feast for coming up with a recipe that matches or beats the expensive Rx wet cat food!
