I had these lamps in my old apartment and they give off the perfect soft light at night so you can see almost everything you see need to be as sharp as most house lights at night without being suppressed. When I moved from my apartment to my house I had a little kitten and she yanked the string on my old one before I could hang her on the wall. I waited for her to get out of that phase and got another set. They look very nice and the weight is so light you can use 3m wall brackets to support them. I use LEDs in all my rooms at night as I find it helps me calm down at night and looks better on me overall. They give off a nice warm light that goes better with my living room where there is a TV.
