I can't find anything to complain about!

My husband is (apparently) a very distant cousin of Robert the Bruce so I thought this would make a cute/cheesy Christmas present. I didn't read the reviews before purchasing and when I finally did I almost canceled the order because a lot of people said it was a scam. After doing a little very light research I'm glad I bought it. Some people complained that the quality of the paper everything was printed on was not good enough. We paid at most $30 for it and most of that went towards the restoration of the castle and grounds. So how much do you think they will spend on your documents? Some people complained that when they tried to tour the castle without phoning first, they couldn't do it and couldn't speak to the owners because they weren't there. About fifty different places say the tour is scheduled once a month, or you can go yourself, but in any case, you must call ahead not to be disappointed. Some people said that by the time they were able to tour, the area was overgrown and covered with weeds. If the owners are putting up money for repairs and restorations, I think the area is the last thing they want to restore. But since standing on a square foot is part of this prank, they should probably at least mow the lawn, so I'm a little reluctant on that point. Some of the tour participants said that their country is very difficult to find. This is a square foot of 16 acres of land sure a little hard to find! Other people complained that during the tour they noticed that the castle was in a state of disrepair but the living quarters were being worked on so they thought it was a scam. One of the websites I read says that the money we pay them goes towards restoring the living quarters as well as the rest of the castle (part of which burned down in a fire so funds are needed for repairs) and land is used, so it's not like they're hiding that fact. Also, if you were to pay for that gift stating that the monies are for the restoration of the castle, and you arrive and the castle is already fully restored, you would be complaining where your money really went. Some people have said that after registering their gift, it either took them forever to get the certificate or they never got the certificate. I received my certificate via airmail about 10 days after I registered, about as long as they said it would take. This gift is exactly what it promises. For helping with the restoration of the castle living quarters, the main part of the castle and the grounds, you get a square foot of land on the property (which is pretty cool in itself) and a free tour. Obviously people expect to get a million dollars for their $30 but personally I think $30 was well spent and I don't even expect to visit the castle or the grounds!
