This kit comes in two pieces, one for the top screen and one to cover the underside of the keyboard area. I had the top cap in seconds, it snapped securely in place and I had no issues with it. However, the bottom part disappointed me. I couldn't get all the pieces to snap properly, there was too much pressure in one area and when I put that piece on first the other side or other tabs don't work well. I ended up bending and pressing the lid just enough to get all of the tabs out of the edges, but one looks like it has stress cracks and might eventually snap. So I removed 2 latches due to installation issues, and I also have 2 small latches that fit in the hinge cutout and make a popping noise when opening the Chromebook (Acer CB3-431 14" Chromebook). I like the little feet that able to set the keyboard up at a slight angle (probably 5-10 degrees) and the non-slip feet on the front are much appreciated. Installation issues aside, this is a nice lid that shouldn't cover anything.
