Designed for women who are not very busty.
My wife is medium height, but she is a bit curvier than this swimsuit with its cups will allow. The cups themselves sit too high on the bust, making them unsuitable for wearing. I'll have to measure. If your wife is medium height, you may need a large size, but I wouldn't be careful with that. If you buy them big and they aren't usually that big, they can make you sleep on the couch.
