I bought this for my step daughter in middle school. Due to COVID they are not allowed to use the lockers so she needs a bigger backpack that will fit everything she needs PLUS her winter coat. It's big enough for her folders, notepads, a couple of books, a pencil case and a light winter coat. It's tight but she didn't want anything more as it's "awkward" :) The material feels durable and has withstood the beating of a regular high schooler so far and is holding up well. It didn't use the charging port, but I've had bad luck with them in the past. The water bottle holder on the side is a nice feature, you don't have to worry about it spilling into your book bag or taking up space. All in all a really great backpack for their needs!
