We already have an Eton American Red Cross FRX2 "just in case” radio and stereo in the house. I was looking for a basic AM/FM/NOAA radio to keep in the camper for when we don't have cell service but still need music or weather reports. It was the same price as those that were only AM/FM radio and I figured the solar panel and crank might come in handy so what the heck. I'm glad I did. This is a major upgrade from Eton Radio. Now I'm debating which one to leave as a last resort and which one to pack in the camper. The radio is slightly larger than the Eton but worth it. As well as being able to charge via the solar panel and run like the Eton, the radio sounds clearer and louder and the flashlight is much brighter than the Eton. I don't know how many lumens the flashlight has, but it looks like my AA mini Maglite. The non-positive (they aren't actually negatives) is that there's no bottle opener here, it's a bottle opener. And I'm not sure how useful the built-in battery will be to charge a smartphone of such small dimensions. But it allows me to turn off my phone to save power in an emergency and still be alert. And a warning, the SOS button will flash the light and make a LOUD siren sound. Don't click this button if you don't want to. If you have trouble, the symbols on the buttons can be difficult to see in the dark, so read them before an emergency. And the screen backlight button also changes the wireless range for some reason. Although I can live with that.
