Powder coating or painting?
This folding muffler was a perfect match for my 1999 Jeep Cherokee exhaust pipe. It was easy to tap and tighten and in that respect it was perfect. However, the black paint, which should actually be a powder coating, is peeling off in many places and I have never experienced that with a powder coating. I doubt it was actually painted and advertised as powder coated. I don't know. Anyway, the finish didn't last long and now it looks terrible. I'm not happy with that.
