EDIT - after trying to use this bag for several days I have to send it back. The shoulder straps are awful and very painful unless you're wearing a heavier shirt (I'm a hot box and usually live in tank tops). I don't always have the option to roll a bag, so I need both options. And the straps are very thin, feel very flimsy, I doubt they will last much longer. As you can see they are filled to the brim. I'm one of those people who carry their lives around with them. Multiple pockets are great for people like me. Runs well so far. I'm only giving 4 stars because I doubt the straps will hold up if I use it as a backpack too much, they're pretty flimsy. And the water bottle pocket is only 4 1/2 inches deep (see picture) so I highly doubt the water bottle will stay there when you carry it around. It will do the job I need, but I'm not sure it will do that for long.
