This fixed my DS4 Gen 4 controller (4-698-771-12 F1). I must have fried it with a fast phone charger because it wasn't connected to my computer via USB, it just flashed white when I pressed the PS button. There has been conflicting information as to whether this part or the battery needs replacing, but I can confirm that just replacing this part worked for me. What I didn't immediately notice was that the ribbon cable connector was slightly different than the original part. . It has a small latch that you lift first, insert the cable, and then close the latch.
