Hmm, I don't know what I think of this bag. Some context, this is for my second child, I had a large hub (skip hop) for the first and loved it, although I found it to be a bit large for everyday use (and the faux leather was peeling off and it looked scruffy out ), so I decided to buy a new bag for the newborn. Saw this one on a $20 deal and just couldn't pass up the opportunity. Good + It's stiff and keeps its shape, which makes it easy to put things back in place and also makes it easier to find things, but that's only for the main compartment!+ It's wide and flat, which is what it is very easy makes seeing and finding things in the bag (the main reason I didn't choose the Skip Hop Duo) + The design and fabric is nice and the bag definitely looks and feels high quality and not like a cheap $20 diaper bag. + The well thought-out inner pockets (3 puree pockets on one side and 2 wider fabric pockets on the other side) ensure easy organization in the main compartment. + I like the little feet on the bottom so they don't touch the ground (although it's a light color and I still try to be careful when putting it down) + I like the size, design and feel of the bottle bags. . I'm an EBF so I don't use them for baby bottles, I use one for my umbrella which makes it nice and affordable and I can also avoid getting the inside wet if I need to put a wet bottle away. The other is where I usually keep my phone (although my husband usually takes it from there because it's definitely not the safest place for a phone) or a water bottle. The pockets taper slightly at the top so they hold things in place, but it's still easy to get things in and out and there's no elastic, making it easier to use (in my humble opinion) especially for smaller items (I have that headset plugged in there). recently). Also due to the lack of elastic, when there is nothing in the pockets they blend in with the rest of the bag and are almost invisible + I like the overall style of the bag. slightly less tall), but holds MUCH LESS than the large medium one, and I mean MUCH smaller. - As it's stiff, the outside pockets are a joke, you can hardly put anything in them. - The small zip pocket is too small to fit in my phone (note), it's also quite deep making it difficult to get out the small things that fit in (lip balm and spare keys as it can't hold my master keychain and keys ) and also if you find loose change and try to pull it out, the entire lining of that pocket will come out with what you were trying to get - I'm very frustrated with that little pocket - pens. they just don't work for me, I don't carry a diaper bag in my hand (who ever has a free hand with a baby?!?) and they kind of always get in the way, especially because they're positioned so intuitively (one is in front of the bag and the other one behind the pocket and I can never remember which is where so I'm never sure which way to move the handle when picking up the changing pad - it's not a deal breaker but next to the baby got I've thought about it enough to get to the stuff in the bag so I use a good quality long shoulder strap to carry the bag and there's nothing wrong with that, but again it's not as easy to use as I hope (I know I'm a handy snob) how does that actually get under the bag!?! when I finally get it out I have to figure out how up and down the shoulder pad is The strap is very good quality hinges on the Bag attaches but rotates so easily that you never know which way it's being rotated and it won't stay in the position you put it in when you sling the bag over your shoulder. - It's still a very wide bag, which doesn't make it very comfortable if you're trying to get through a crowded bus with it on your shoulder, for example. It's a good bag overall, but be aware that although well organized in the main compartment, it's still a large bag that holds very little.
