I use this product to refresh my curls in the morning/afternoon before going outside. I have thick 4b hair so I need plenty of moisture to 'restore/revive' my curls and it helps when I don't want to put my hair in the shower. I used to use a conventional spray gun and my fingers hurt from the constant squeezing. This wets my hair more evenly (with a standard bottle it gets wet in some places and stays dry in others), this spray allows for more diffuse saturation in less time as it has a continuous stream. . I learned about these bottles from watching youtube videos of other girls doing their curly hair and I will never go back, it's just easier and less painful. Good product.
