Review on 🌬️ Thermaltake Slim X3 Low Profile CPU Fan Review & Specs: Intel LGA775/1156/1200 (CLP0534) by Jeff Bruno

I installed this on my Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00GHz. I threw away the supplied fan and replaced it with an 80mm Vantec Stealth fan. I don't manually set the fan speed as I don't overclock and this gives me near-silent performance. I have excellent hearing and can barely hear it when the room is dead quiet. I also covered it with arctic silver. I like it because it's durable, installs very well, has a low profile, and transfers heat well. WARNING: You must unplug the motherboard to install this. So I suggest using this for a new build while you already have everything from the case. It's easy to install, but you'll need access to the bottom of the motherboard.
