There has to be a better kit than this as the instructions are terrible and the cuts don't work

This item fits my 2015 Wrangler perfectly. Except for one issue that has nothing to do with the real Jeep. Blanks intended for old holes are made quickly and cheaply. First, they are simply round blanks with a bolt that needs to be screwed on. The biggest problem is this. I bought two kits, one for each side, and neither of them let you thread a nut onto the post. There is no visible damage to the threads, so I'm not sure what's going on here. I now have two large holes in my hood. Second, why do they supply a blank and then the instructions say to add silicone (not included) and/or use a piece of rubber from an old camera as a base? Hm? Either deploy or find a better solution! This is a cheap way to save money. The third blank is a round plug, the hole in my hood from the old position of the washer head is rectangular. Come on! 3D printers are readily available. 3D print a blank with tabs that snap easily! The instructions also state that the cover does not need to be removed to install this product. Yes, that's right. Again, they didn't want to print instructions and take responsibility for you removing the wiper cover and arms, which also had to be done. Just because you ignore it as a manufacturer doesn't mean it doesn't exist. To install the two extensions and their mating nuts on the bottom, the sheathing MUST be removed or you will never get a regular sized tool or hand to tighten them. DO NOT use wire cutters as they are designed to cut the screen. It's plastic. Use a sharp heating knife and oil.
