That's good. This is ideal for easy opening/closing of the strap during a typical day. The strap itself stretches a bit, which is nice for everyday wear and comfort. I don't think it's military or tactical quality as the buckle seems adequate for everyday use, but if I needed something to trust my life with I would choose at least a higher quality buckle. No problems so far, but I don't need it for combat...just an everyday belt.
