They are a bit big. I wear 81/2-9 and ordered a 9.
I usually wear an 8 1/2-9. I ordered 9. They are a bit bigger. So my advice is that you choose a lower number. I'm happy with the product, I'll order a few more colors but I'll do 81/2.
