I have little light directly under my kitchen worktop and always need more light when I'm cooking. I have tried cheap lamp sticks in the past which have not been effective. These Black and Decker lights are the perfect solution! The light is of good intensity, installation is very easy and they are flat enough to be tucked away neatly under a cupboard. Each unit is powered by 3 AA batteries and has two installation options: stickers or fasteners (screws and drywall anchors included). The device has a magnetic strip on the back, with tape on one magnetic side - this makes it easy to remove the light strip from the attached surface to change batteries. I haven't had success with the motion detection option - there is an automatic setting for this option. That wasn't a problem for me as I turn on the light manually.
