Best things first: This backpack is very comfortable to wear and carry. The padded and curved shoulder straps are very comfortable and sit high on your shoulders rather than dangling and hitting your lower back, which is a wonderful problem if the shirt rides up in the back. It has a very stylish look and the presence of side pockets for water bottles is a real plus. The zippers are also thicker and stronger than other zippers I've seen so should hold up well. Cons: This thing really doesn't look as big as it is and doesn't last as much as it claims to. It's not wide at all. I mean you could put a laptop in it, maybe a slim journal, tablet or magazine, but a proper book? This will take up a lot of space. Ditto if you omit the laptop power cord. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but if you're someone who likes to carry around more than one book (or if you're in college and have textbooks to study with), this probably isn't the best choice for you.
