Needles, scissors, etc. are fine. But when I tried to use yarn I found it was impossible to find the ends, so I have tiny spools wrapped with yarn that I can't use. But what really surprised me is that the tape measure is wrong. I measured my waist and realized it couldn't be right. Place the tape measure on the ruler and make sure the 12 inches on the ruler equals approximately 9.2 inches on the tape measure. (The other side in centimeters seems correct).
