I bought this product and expected more. First, it's convenient, works as advertised. My issue with this headset was that I had a Pixel 3 xl that barely fit in the headset, let in more light than I wanted, and oh my god I had trouble pairing the controller. I ended up going with a third-party headset that came with a DayDream compatible controller, was cheaper, and came with headphones attached. I bought it for the retail price of 49.99 and I still think it's hardly worth it and it comes from someone trying to fully immerse themselves in the Google ecosystem. The advantages of the headset are its small size and aesthetic appearance, which is not much different from other headsets. Video clarity was definitely less than excellent, there are no focus adjustments and it's large enough to fit your face if you wear glasses. I wear glasses. In fact, my biggest problem is getting the controller to pair and pair. I haven't had any issues with other Daydream compatible controllers.
