These are not individual lashes. They are actually clumps based on how they cross and separate from the adhesive strip, but each cilia is so microscopic, with no root ball or attachment at the root, that they fall apart very easily and are too thin/tiny to use separately, when they break up. They must be applied in clumps or clusters as the root of each lash does not have the surface to hold the glue. They are sooooo delicate and you waste/lose a lot on application but the ones you apply successfully look very natural and great. I have fake lashes in the theater but in this case I probably wouldn't go for 8mm because the lashes fall apart so easily and get lost in your own lashes and they are so tiny. I would not recommend them for beginners. because they are difficult to apply directly and require a VERY steady hand and good eye. There are many cluster lashes that look just as good and are much easier to apply for the beginner or DIYer. So don't use them if you're new to individual lashes. Again, as said, they don't have a wider root base to hold the glue and stick to your real lashes unless you pull out the clump and apply the clump while individual lashes detach in the process (as opposed to clusters that are manufactured). apply as a cluster and stay together in a group). So remember that you need the right touch so you don't waste a ton. But with care they look very natural and I love the end result.
