Review on Enhanced Replacement Cable for Audio-Technica M-Series Headphones: HP-SC by Jared Coleman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The twist lock is not worth the premium price and the quality leaves a lot to be desired

As some others have said they are not very high quality and unless you are very careful and careful the cable ends bend very easily. wiring or plugging in such a way that the sound is no longer transmitted properly and the cable becomes garbage is usually not that big of a deal, except that these cables are unnecessarily expensive. They are trying to sell you a rotary lock that is actually only made by them. After probably >$50 for cables between them and the extensions I used, which I kept messing up because the maximum length of AT twistlock cables is useless to me, I gave up, opened up my M40x, removed the patented AT -Twisted plugs and installed standard 3.5 to 2.5mm adapters, now I can use standard 3.5mm cables at a normal price and don't have to spend an arm on my leg if they fail , not to mention I get better quality cable than this junk.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Expensive
