Ordered Medium. My cat weighs about 10 pounds, has a 10" neck, 14" chest and about 17" in length (from neck to base of tail). She is a VERY long cat but short in stature so we compromised and got a medium size based on her neck and chest and not her length. I recommend measuring between two sizes! The quality of the sweater is very good, like a knit sweater. Not too thin and not too thick. Soft, elastic and durable. The armhole is actually just 1 big hole in the middle, not 2 holes for each arm, which I found odd. Easy to put on! The sweater was easy to put on thanks to the stretch in the neck. It was good to keep! Although she was clearly annoyed, she made no attempt to take it off. If she got scared and jumped too fast, her hand would get lost in the sweater. Otherwise, if she moved slowly, she was fine. I uploaded a video of her doing little jumps in a sweater to show that she can move around in a sweater with ease. I couldn't make a video of her walking around in it, but it's very funny. It's like she's wearing high heels or a pencil skirt on her front arms and taking small steps. Comfort seems very good! In general, she is quite comfortable in a sweater, more comfortable than I expected. She spent all day in the sweater without trying to take it off which I think is a huge win! And while she pretended she couldn't run or jump in it, we caught her walking and climbing/jumping easily, so the center armhole, strange as it looks, works and gives the cat freedom of movement. . Weapons. You just can't move very fast or your hand gets lost in the sweater. All in all I can only recommend this sweater!
