I've permed and tinted my lashes a dozen times now and I've used almost every version of ICONSIGN perming kits as well as other brands' kits and they finally got it right! What a new and fabulous ? GLUE: It's finally sooooo sticky, unlike before. The mold will NOT pop out of your lid. Your lashes are taking shape so spend some time with the conditioning oil when this step comes because this glue will be sticky and will flake off into a sticky mass when you wipe it off your lashes and eyelid. LOTIONS: The Perm Lotion and Setting Lotion formulas are also better. Now they have a gel-like consistency and can be spread very well. COLOR: Now we have a full set of eyelash color! I noticed that it took forever (maybe 30 minutes) for the mixture to darken to snot green, but my lashes turned black even though the cream never darkened again, so win! the thickest forms. The large curve that's slightly off the side of my lash line allowed me to create lashes that stand straight and don't curl at the tips. Your lashes will curl into your eyelids and be annoying as hell, and you won't be able to wear mascara without smudging or flaking your eyelids. My lotion processing time was 10 minutes each. Please only do this for one eye at a time. Time for the curling process. Coloring both at the same time was easy and I was up and running in 15 minutes. I use a comb to shape my lashes for the perm and I used lots of cotton swabs (not included) to rub in the gel/lotions. I did NOT use coils, eye pads, felt tip applicators or the pretty mirror it came with. (I used a magnifying makeup mirror. Each lash looks how it looks on the form, so take the time to get them looking how you want them before applying lotions!) Overall I am completely satisfied with the results and will stay true to this kit. They finally got it right and that's all I need.
