My cat refuses to use it. Maybe the original tower is good, but my cat HATES it. I have a loft bed and I've been trying to get him to use it to get in and out and he hates me when he has to use it to get in and out. He literally starts growling when he has to use it to get off my bed. It wobbles and the top pad is tiny, so no wonder. Plus, it's like a fuzzy, uncomfortable tree to lie on. It was easy to put together, good price and my cat never uses it so it hasn't broken yet. He is an adult cat, weighs only 9 pounds and is still too unstable and too small for him. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew how much it sucks. I saw mixed reviews about it and was optimistic. regret. Waste of money, wouldn't recommend to anyone. Trust the reviews that say this tree is rubbish and invest your money elsewhere. I would have sent it back but my neighbor threw the box away before I could.
