Review on Chemical Guys AIR_101_16 Freshener Eliminator by Scott Gendron

Seriously, one spray will do the trick.

Bought a used truck that must have belonged to the Marlboro man himself. By the way, what I learned from the devices stored on the radio is that he calls himself "Big Al". In any case. The truck smelled so bad. I replaced the cabin air filter, disassembled most of the dash to remove hidden ash, vacuumed the carpet, seats and headliner then did 2 rounds of shampooing. It helped a little. I then sprinkled some white vinegar on all of the above surfaces. After leaving the place for about a week, the cigarette smell was about 95% gone. Unfortunately, it was replaced by the smell of vinegar. So, after a lot of research, I found this stuff! Since this was my first application and I was struggling with a very strong odor, I sprayed 3 sprays on the truck and then sprayed one into the windshield HVAC intake just to aid in venting. After sitting with the window open all day, I closed it and went to bed the next morning for the actual test. When I opened the door with my eyes closed, I could have sworn I had just opened the door to my new 2018 Silverado! It smelled damn good! This is the closest thing to a new car smell I've ever experienced in my 20+ years of driving. The vinegar smell never returned, and neither did Big Al's olfactory memory. About every 2-3 weeks I spray about half of the spray there to keep it nice and fresh.
