Okay. I've spent weeks, if not months (a bit dramatically, but mostly true) debating whether I should order these jumpsuits or any other off-brand onesie that combines cuteness and quality. I have my expensive overalls *insert brand name* for farm work, but I wanted something light and girly for gardening. I've searched and ordered elsewhere, in major retail stores, and nothing has impressed me, most have been returned. So, I've finally figured out what I'm losing, other than MORE TIME while waiting out the disappointment. You may or may not care why, but here it is: I chose green because 1) they are cute 2) love the chest pocket, perfect for snacking 3) love that the straps match the fabric and that the straps are adjustable4 ) side pockets 5) did I mention THEY ARE CUTE?! 6) It appears to be a light material, not mentioned in the product description (tsk tsk) is that they are "stretched" on the legs and knees (four areas total). First of all, dear clothing makers, STOP DESTROYING CLOTHING. If someone wants to disturb something, they can do it themselves. you're doing this wrong Love, someone who was a teenager in the 80's and 90's who cut and ripped his amazing jeans. I happened to read a few reviews that mentioned this unfortunate appearance, so I knew about it beforehand and ordered anyway because EVERYTHING offered by this company and everyone else has some kind of problematic appearance. This "problematic" attempt is nothing more than 3-4 cuts of different sizes and nothing more than a pair of scissors that made several cuts in the fabric. It seems like an afterthought, and a stupid one at that. (Forcing a distressed look to perfectly match the symmetry is silly. If you do, at least make it look like it happened naturally.) Though thankfully you can barely see the slashes since they're made of fabric are design, these cuts just want to get bigger even when you're doing nothing but putting them on as there is no reinforcement in the weak fabric to maintain the shape and size of the problematic look. This is not denim. The bottom of the legs are also frayed, but it looks nice, and the stitching helps strengthen there. The fabric is thin (perfect for me because I live in a humid, hot, disgusting climate and want to wear them outside) and looks a bit dated and worn, which I like. The color is exactly the same as on my computer screen. As if a lime and an olive had a love child, it would be such a shade of green. The stitching is white and the design and its colors look beautiful. The length depends on my height - I'm 5'11", so of course I knew 100% that they would be short for me and as long as they are below the knees everything is fine. See the picture, where they fall.As usual I would like them to be more mid-calf and not top-calf but that's fine...welcome to my life.Even the cheapest strap buckle doesn't bother me much and I do can easily replace them if they break and I have no doubt they will.I keep them....because I LOVE cute garden stuff and honestly I'm tired of searching. But mostly because I'm a chump .I threw between 3 and 4 stars and I admit I could easily give up 5 stars because they are really adorable and comfy but I fell for 3 stars the slashes took me off a star yes mostly because the fact that they exist , but more because those tears make it look like I cut something in my lap and accidentally cut my jumpsuit with my own scissors or my cat got mad at me pants or both. If they cost $20, that would be an acceptable balance, along with cheap shop hardware, cheap buckles, and the fact that I had to spend money on four glue patches and ultimately new strap buckles. But I just can't put a fourth star twice. I (mostly) like everything that is written in general (see what I did there?). I'm going to have my patches done right away so my naughty big toes don't end up in blunt cracks and messing up these super cute fun green giant onesie because I really love them and I really want all my neighbors to think I'm awesome sweet when i water my flowers.
