While I don't have a problem with stolen packages, I think it would be a good idea to post something on the front door to deter such theft. That's why I have this fake security camera installed on the side of the front door. This security camera is smaller than those found in business premises. I was expecting it to be a bit larger to make it more visible. It also doesn't have the glossy silver-grey metallic color I'd like to see, which more closely resembles the CCTV cameras installed in commercial buildings. The built-in ambient light sensor is powered by 2 x AAA batteries and can detect the ambient light conditions. In the dark, it mimics a real surveillance camera and emits a constant red light (e.g. infrared light). No RED light comes out during the day. Well, I would have preferred to have an LED flashing light always on day and night. I just feel like the 'LED blinks' action makes people believe the device actually 'works'.
